My name is Laura Oglesbee and I have lived in Southeast Texas almost all of my life. I graduated from Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School in 1999 and have lived in and around the Golden Triangle since. My husband and I have 4 children together who attend both Port Neches-Groves and Little Cypress-Mauriceville school districts.

I have been a professional photographer since 2017 and owner of Laura Oglesbee Photography LLC since 2022. Having 4 children and a husband I really needed to make my own schedule, so I decided to open my own photography business. And here I am world!

My back story:

I started taking pictures in 2002 of anything or anyone if they would let me. After having my own child in 2008 and working in the community my friends kept asking me to take pictures of their kids, families, senior portraits and birthday parties. I worked at a corporate owned portrait studio from 2003-2005 where I learned to work in a fast paced studio environment. Learning customer service, studio lighting and family studio photography.

From 2017 to 2022 I worked in a studio where I honed my skills of sports action, pageant, professional headshot and overall everything about being a photographer. Including working closely with the community and school districts. I do love our communities we have here in South East Texas! Over the years I have became friends with local photographers who taught me more about my passion. There are some amazing photographers in our area and I thank each and everyone of them that has helped me be where I am today.
